5 Şubat 1996 tarihinde İstanbul'da doğan Özgü Kaya, eğitimini İstanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı'nda tamamladı. Özgü Kaya'nın oyunculuk kariyeri ilk olarak Adı Efsane dizisiyle başladı.
