MCP yi kim kurdu?

Cumhur İttifakı, 20 Şubat 2018 tarihinde Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AK Parti) ile Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP) arasında kurulan seçim ittifakıdır. Daha sonrasında Büyük Birlik Partisi (Büyük Birlik) ve Yeniden Refah Partisi (Yeniden Refah) de ittifaka katılmıştır.

Kendi beyanına göre, 27 Mayıs Darbesi'nin fiili lideri kendisidir. Türkeş, darbe hakkında yaptığı açıklamada “27 Mayıs ihtilalinin fiilen lideri benim. General olmamama rağmen fiilen liderliğini ben yaptım” demiştir.

19 Mayıs 2021 tarihinde kurulmuş olması planlanan partinin kuruluş dilekçesi 17 Mayıs 2021 tarihinde İçişleri Bakanlığına sunulmuş ve parti resmen kurulmuştur. Atatürkçülüğü benimseyen bir parti olan Memleket Partisi, siyasi pozisyonunu sol veya sağ olarak konumlandırmamaktadır.

MHP KAÇ MİLLETVEKİLİ ÇIKARTTI? MHP, 2018'de yüzde 11,1 oy oranıyla 49 milletvekili çıkartmıştı. Cumhurbaşkanı ve 28. Dönem Milletvekili Genel Seçimleri'nde yüzde 10,05 oy oranıyla 50 milletvekili çıkardı. 2023 yılında MHP'nin milletvekili sayısı 50 olarak belirlendi.
