Tahammül etmek ise bir duruma, zorluğa ve kötülüğe karşı sabır gösterme anlamına gelir. Bir duruma karşı dayanma, direnç gösterme, yükü üstlenme olarak da açıklanır.

Tahammül edememek ne anlama gelir?

Tahammülsüzlükte, kişi sıklıkla kaçınmacı tepkiler vererek öfkesini ifade etmeye çalışır. Örneğin; çocuklar gürültü yapınca kişinin evden dışarı çıkması (kuaföre, spor salonuna, günlere) veya çocuğuna tahammül edemediği için uykuya kaçması buna örnektir.
