Haşlandıktan sonra ıspanakları ve suyu azalmışsa biraz da su ekliyoruz. Dört beş dk kadar ıspanaklarla beraber kaynatıyoruz. Hepsini parçalayıcıdan geçirip üzerine dört beş damla limon sıkıyoruz ki demir emilimi daha çok olsun. Afiyetle.

Öncelikle salçamızı yağda biraz kavurup, küçük küçük doğradığımız ve yıkadığımız ıspanakları ekleyip öldürene kadar karıştıralım. Ispanaklar tamamen yumuşayınca yıkadığımız pirinçi de ekleyip göz kararı sıcak su ve et suyu ekledikten sonra kısık ateşte 20-25 dk pişmeye bırakıyoruz.
