SALAZOPYRİN, steroid yapıda olmayan iltihap giderici ilaçlarla tedaviye yanıt vermeyen, eklemlerde ağrı ve şekil bozukluğuna neden olan romatoid artritli hastaların tedavisinde ve iltihaplı barsak hastalıklarının tedavisinde (ülseratif kolit, aktif Crohn hastalığı) kullanılır.

Sulfasalazin ilaç ne işe yarar?

Sülfasalazin hem iltihaplı barsak hastalıklarının, hem de romatoid artrit ve ankilozan spondilit gibi bazı iltihaplı romatizmaların tedavisinde kullanılan hastalığı iyileştirebilme özelliği olabilen bir ilaçtır. Piyasada 500 mg'lık büyük tabletler halinde bulunur.

SALAZOPYRİN nasıl etki eder?

İlaç ve metabolitleri, immunomodulatuar ve antibakteriyel etkiler gösterirken, aynı zamanda araşidonik asit yolağı üzerine (özellikle lökotrienler) ve bazı enzimlerin aktivitesini değiştirerek etki gösterir. Kesin sonuç inflamatuvar barsak hastalığı aktivitesinde klinik olarak azalmadır.

SALAZOPYRİN kaç saat arayla kullanılır?

Haftada bir kez tablet veya injeksiyon şeklinde kullanılabilir. Tabletler aç karnına alınmalı ve dozun yükseldiği durumlarda haftalık doz 2'ye bölünerek 12 saat arayla kullanılmalıdır. Böylece ilacın etkinliği artar.
